APPLICATION PROCESS
1. Prescreening
The following documents and form must be submitted for prescreening:
* Photocopies of
1. Passports with Non-Immigrant Visa status of Student and Parents (for expatriates) or Thai Birth
Certificate (for students born in Thailand only)
2. Baptismal Certificate (for Catholic students only)
3. Previous school records for the last three years at least (officially translated into English)
* Completed Application Form
After prescreening of the above documents and form, the list of applicants who are eligible for Placement Tests will be posted on the school website (www.rist.ac.th). Parents can also request this information by phone from the Receptionist.
2. Placement Test
Parents whose children are eligible for Placement Tests must contact the school's Reception Office to receive the Admission Process Form and pay 4,000 baht for the Admission Process Fee at the Finance Office prior to testing. The original copy of the Admission Process Form serves as a receipt, and must be presented on the day of the test.
3. Acceptance
The Admission decision will normally be mailed to the student's home.
5. Enrollment Fee Payment
Students who are accepted and wish to enroll at RIST must pay the full tuition at the Finance Office by the published deadline. This payment guarantees the student a seat at RIST. Details of the Registration process will be given at that time.
N.B. Until full tuition is paid, the student is placed on a waiting list.
WAITING LIST
Students who have successfully passed the Test for grade levels where available seats are limited are sometimes placed on a waiting list. Parents will be informed of acceptance into RIST no later than the second week of the first Semester.
N.B. Waitlisted students are advised not to withdraw from their current school until their enrollment at RIST is confirmed so as not to disrupt their schooling. Waitlisting does not guarantee placement at RIST.
SUMMER SCHOOL
New students are required to attend Summer School, a three-week session held in June.
